Once again, the splendor of the mountains is whispering "come back" while I am running up and down the hillsides of the Northern continent; thus, in late February, my 70 yr old legs will be pretending to be strong, graceful and stunning as they approach the steep trails and gregarious people that hold together the swinging bridges and elegant Stupas. With much needed supplies, I will be returning to the village schools where teachers are revered; thus children are challenged to race up and down the mountainsides for the priviledge of going to school. My precious eight year old granddaughter, Alexandra,  collected pastel markers to send to the children her age, and adventurous Drew's New Brunswick kindergarten class is making pictures to pass on to young students who share the same enthusiasm over their new adventures of learning. In addition, my duffels will be stuffed with various supplies, learning tools and technology to help enhance the education of the remote village schools I've been privileged to get to know. Thanks to a retired former trekker,  microscopes will open the doors of science for children who live in country surrounded by natural beauty yet encircled with precarious landscape. Thanks to all of you who will be traveling with me vicariously; I hope you enjoy the ride.
